Technical Advice in the field
One of the factors that differentiate our group is the specialist advice that we offer farmers on site at their greenhouses. Grupo Femago has 30 agricultural technicians (holders of Degrees in Agricultural Engineering) and a floating staff of up to 60 associated technicians who are called upon in high season.
Ever since the founder of the group laid the foundations for our future progress we have believed that the service we provide should be more than to act as simple.
Organisational Structure
The group's management committee is made up of two members who are descendants of the founder, Mr. Francisco García Quero and Ms. Begoña Góngora Oliver (owners of 75% of the shares in Grupo Femago) and a third member, Mr. Francisco Maleno Lirola.
The Committee's job is to design the company's strategy and to delegate the launching of new initiatives and the control of daily activities to the directors (managers) of the different companies within the group.
The Managing Director, Mr. Alfonso Sánchez, is responsible for overseeing processes and decision making. The managers of the different companies within the group that report directly to de Managing Director: Mr. Francisco Maleno at Agrupalmería, Mr. Antonio Martín at Agrocastell, The group has about 1,000 employees. Due to the seasonal nature of this kind of produce, the personnel structure is a flexible one that is designed to always work efficiently.
