The third area that Femago works on is Sales, from the point of setting a value to the products, to the point at which they reach the final consumer.

Sales at point of origin

As explained in the Auction section, the national and international buyers come to our facilities to "see" the products and participate in the auction system used in the food sector. Selling takes place on a daily basis (sometimes, there are two selling periods per day) and all of the produce in the auction hall must be sold on the same day.

Sales at point of destination

Grupo Femago has a sales network throughout the regular and emerging markets, which is in close contact with the headquarters in Almería. This presence on the ground allows us to stay informed on the demands of different markets, adding value to the sales process

Logistical advice

The products have to reach their destinations in the best possible condition. To achieve this, we provide advice and consultation on logistical activity, focusing on areas like establishing the best routes, making the most of the space inside the vehicles, placing the product, refrigeration and returning packaging.

Logistical activity is not free of environmental and weather conditions that hinder its effectiveness. Consequently, Grupo Femago pays special attention to this area, which is so important to the general sales and distribution process and to the quality of the product provided.

Meanwhile, we stay up to date on developments and novelties in the Spanish fruit and vegetables sector through Uniagro, one of the companies that the group has a stake in and one which is a market leader when it comes to buying and selling products a la carte for all types of buyers.
