Agrupalmeria
Agrupalmería is one of the major fruit and vegetable companies in the Levante area (the part of the province that is east of Almería itself). Its work centres around auctions for tomatoes in their many varieties. With over 40 years experience selling fresh produce, the company currently does business with virtually every part of the European Economic Community, as well as the emerging Eastern European market.
Hundreds of thousands of kilos of produce leave our loading docks every day on the way to many markets, and our warehouses are emptied and refilled with new goods on a daily basis. The story of Agrupalmería is essentially the story of the unstoppable rise of tomato cultivation in the La Cañada-Nijar area. This is a land that is privileged in terms of the sun, the land and water, natural attributes that, together with the experience and know-how of the farmers that Grupo Femago works with, are responsible for the large amounts of produce that go through our facilities every day.
